The San Francisco art collective of Upper Playground and FIFTY24SF are set to invade Los Angeles later this month. Four retail spaces will open up on Downtown Los Angeles' Skid Row, each with their own distinct theme and range of products. Upper Playground's talented twosome of Mister Cartoon and Estevan Oriol will be among the artists displaying works which include Usugrow, Sam Flores, Jeremy Fish, David Choe, Herbert Baglione, San, Retna, Saber, Alex Pardee, Ron English, Doze Green, Slick, Armsrock and David Ellis. A fourth bonus space will have a revolving range of items, however the debut of the space will be marked by a display from Tony Ward's Six in the Face collection as well as a display of motorcycles from Roland Sands. As the release date nears, look for this space to also develop into one of the main launching points of Overture Films "Righteous to Kill" movie. Seen here are some of the t-shirt designs set to release at the opening of the locations.

Cool - but last time I went there I felt weird stepping over homeless poeple lying on the street outside a hip bar - everyone acted like they were invisible. I guess thats what you do :?

speaking of usugrow... has anyone used any services to order off of Usugrow's website? I know that blackleaf is in the works and will ship international but I was curious about direct ordering via a 3rd party.
Sorry for the thread derailment.
