Hey LA dudes, I'll be in your town on Saturday to visit Meltdown and Span. Any other recommendations? |

Errr, come to my house. Apart from that, check out all the "lowbrow" galleries: Copronason and others at Bergamot Station, Gallery1988 etc.... Juxtapoz.com has sme decent listings. Johnson Motors in Pasadena for Tim Biskup stuff. Other toy stores, like Munky King on Melrose is worth a quick look if u r in the area, tho no Jp vinyl. Plenty of sneaker and apparel stores if thats yer bag. Little Tokyo and China Town are OK destinations. Culturewise, the Getty Villa is a whole day but worth a look. Its has some great antiquities in an amazing setting. |

Nearly forgot, the Silverlake Sunset Junction Fest is on the entire weekend. I plan on going in the evening as Redd Kross and BRMC are on, plus plenty of other folk, as well as stalls, fairground rides etc..... Its a great weekend. |

Cheebo - which is great, but nothing is great every day Abbots Habit - same Quizno's Ro Ro's Chicken New York Pizza & Pasta Sunset Thai, Toi, California Vegan Steak Depot (Philly place) There's maybe a place i'm not thinking of, but that's where I go the most. I'd like any recommendations, especially vegan places. I'm not a vegan, but try to eat as healthy as possible. Thanks! |
