I'll be checking it out this Friday. Anyone want to accompany a lonely nerd?

Comikaze should merge with DCon....it would be the beginning of an SDCC rival.

I was there before it opened Friday and it was mostly Nerd-wear, plush stuff and comic-related products. Lots of Funko, etc.

From the website, this thing looked super nerdy, not any kind of good or cool nerdy, but the "I've given up all hope of ever moving out of my mom's basement" nerdy.

I went on Friday and there wasn't much going on. There weren't any good panels worth going to and believe it or not, I felt like there weren't enough comic book vendors there. After 2 hours there I was over it, but ended up walking away with a couple art books and a few hardcover TPBs.

At least it isn't as bad as the Long Beach Comic Con, so it has that going for it...
