The price did seem pretty cheap, but I was hoping....

"Greetings,

We have been notified by Funko that the suggested $80 MSRP for the FNK12547 Star Wars Super Shogun 24" Boba Fett was incorrect on the 2015 price sheet they provided to us. The actual MSRP is predicted to be around three times the $69.99 preorder price we had on our listing. Due to this pricing error, we will need to adjust the price on all preorders once the official pricing is announced by Funko. "

Boo...

Despite Transformers probably being my favorite childhood toy I don't know how excited I am about Transformers Jumbos. Maybe it's just that I was never a fan of OP? Maybe something like Soundwave, Megatron, or Devastator would excite me? Eh, I'd rather have a Cylon!

So i'm not seeing the Boba listed on BBT store anymore.

S7 have posted something over on instagram about the two new figures being exclusive to Star Wars Celebration. I hope i'm just misinterpreting that. Can't imagine these would be made in small numbers.

I have was having the same confusion/concerns. I can't imagine they'd do all that tooling for a Boba Fett Super Shogun and not give it a wider release.

In the above post Brian just says the Shadow Trooper "comes out" at the SWC, not that it's limited to the event. Same with Fett at SDCC.

yeah, i know that, but that's an older post. all the messaging coming out this week has been along the lines of "don't miss out, this is a celebration exclusive"

Shadow Trooper is a Celebration exclusive. The Kenner colored Boba Fett is also limited, but is not exclusive to celebration. A small number were airshipped in to have them at the event. There are more coming, but it is a small run as well.

Yeah, both bummed and pleased. Would have looked good on the opposite end of my shelf with the white Trooper. But not upset about keeping $200 in my account.

Just part and parcel of having a bricks & mortar store in NYC. . . it is what it is!

If you say so. No other stores seem to have these in stock yet. Sounds more like they bought it at Celebration and are flipping it. But for some reason that gets a pass because they have a brick and mortar store, and aren't doing the flipping on the boards or ebay.
