Just off the top of my head I think a few of those versions haven't seen the light of day. They might be test paints or future releases. Now I'm trying to remember which releases made it out of the box. Hmmm

so far there have been -

black unpainted
clear red (holiday spirit)
clear pink (valentines day)
clear white (white day)
clear unpainted (lucky bag)
clear painted w/ tinsel (sdcc 09)

the rest in that image are tests and samples.

Thanks!
So the clear red that pops up now and then is a prototype?

There is also the Black/orange/yellow/clear fade HP editions from the anniversary Lucky Bag.

The clear red are unpainted samples. There are also a few unpainted pink that went into Lucky Bags in circulation.

In the photo, white unpainted, white painted, gold metallic, copper metallic, milky white with black, clear with red are all samples.

Thanks Brian. Love the sculpt, first time I let my collecting irrationality take over and I am trying to get all versions...

Does someone have a picture of the black/orange/yellow/clear fade ver?

I think you'll have a pretty hard time finding one, there is only 10 out there.

Don't give up! Keep looking, offer up good bait and make a want list with that on it. I have found some stuff that I thought was impossible to find thanks to this board. Lot's of really good people on here. Just don't give up!

You rekindled the fire!

Well, all ten owners are probably on this board, so it's a start! :)

My trade bait is my store's inventory, so it comes and goes...

Oh and I know the Holiday Spirit, Valentine's Day, White Day and Clear SDCC 09 have headers, do the Black unpainted, Clear Red, Clear Pink and HP black/orange/clear fade do as well?

The black does. Not sure about clear red or pink. The HP faders do not have headers.

So beautiful in it's simplicity. Everytime I see that version it makes me want to go and build up my humble crew of Visi's.

When I first saw the black proto version of Visighost at Super7, I thought it had some appeal but I wasn't blown away. It wasn't until I painted one of these that I really started to appreciate the design. The proportions are just right and the subtle curves throughout the figure just work no matter what angle you look at it from. I have one of the black proto figures now and I love it. I hope to add more Visighosts to my collection eventually. I wish they'd make a clear purple one.

There seem to be an unpainted milky white in this picture (bummed off toycyte)... Was one released or is it just stripped? Proto?

Not that I don't trust people here, but are there tell-tale signs for stripped vs genuine protos?

Post subject:  Re: Visighost versions

There are definitely a few milky white ones floating around. I can't quite remember if they were in lucky bags or not but some have made it out of S7.

As far as signs for stripped vs. actual unpainted I think most of the time you can tell. Also doesn't hurt to just ask the person, I can't imagine that anyone on here would really try to pass off a stripped one as a legit unpainted version. Just my thoughts though.

That looks like Leecifer's collection. It's a bit old cause I know he's missing a couple other customs in that group.

There are some milky white unpainted versions floating around, we put a few in the LB's.

There is also a clear vinyl with red bones/eyes version but it is super duper limited.

Wasn't so much for here as for evil bay or YAJ. Or for people like me who would sell pieces from their own collections thinking they were legit unpainted figures...
