This is like a dream come true, as AM5 are so hard to find and often cracked or missing pieces. I can only hope they are repros of the originals and not "cartoony" looking like the Marusan version. |

These Astro-Mu are sculpted by whoever the original guy was back in the 1970s, as the molds for these are cast of the original figures. This makes them just a hair smaller than the originals, and just to avoid any sneaky hooplahs, every one of these figures will be distinct from the originals, so that that cannot be passed off as the vintage real mccoy. There will also never be reproductions of the original colors, this project is a labor of love exploring where else the line may have gone......hint, hint.... |
