Very cool Brian. I am happy to see the project of this character being made into a toy finally come into fruition. I am looking forward to seeing what you guys can come up for future painted and other vinyl versions.

Brian,

If you don't mind the question:

Who did the sculpt for the WingKong?

That is really a great doll, looking forward to seeing painted versions!

Sorry, not Brian but I'll take a guess It's Kiyoka Ikeda.

The texture of the hair and feathers looks great on this sculpt.
That's a nice bubblegum pink you got there, Lee.

Sorry, guess I am slow but I missed the association. Anything we should know Ed?

i think he means metallica

Exactly, pack of dicks.

Only seeing this now. This started years ago while I was still at Super7, Kirk and camp reached out, Needless to say most of I (and the rest of the staff) had been fans since we were younger. Kirk was interested in doing some runs and we were interested in doing Metallica stuff. Myself and Flynn were invited to the headquarters to check it out and shoot the shit. We did the Nosferatu resin Soakie in spring of 2014 for Kirk's Horror festival. Kirk and the Metallica camp was been nothing but awesome to work with while I was there and these concepts were started. Stoked to see them come to life even as I'm gone. Of all the people I worked with(from the smallest toys company to Lucasfilm) in the 7+ years I was at Super7, Kirk and Metallica was one of the easiest, by FAR, to work with.

Also the Wing Kong is based on some art from an old firework from the 70s I believe but Josh or Flynn can confirm that one too.
