Plus 16,500 seems considerably more than the $100-110 S7 and grumbletoy sold theirs. I notice full-size kaiju is usially more inflated on the forgein market !? |

Kaiju Taro does not get Gargamel toys at wholesale, while Grumble Toys, Super7, and Max Toy Co. do. That should explain some of their prices. |

I would assume KT has to purchase these toys (e.g., event exclusives, certain makers), just like any of us, whereas for other makers, they might have a discount rate as a retailer (e.g., Charactics). This would require him to add markup to retail for the items for which he is not given a preferential price. I also think that this may be the reason that some of the Killer Dragons releases were later sold by Bwana and Tim for more than the store price- they had to purchase them at retail from Gargamel and cover their own expenses. Just speculation, no information.
