This was brand new and bagged. I can't really fault the middle man, he's just throwing them into a box and shipping them out.

But for the prices we pay for these, even at retail... their must be some kind of quality control at the Base. I think i'll try to clean it.

Really, get some cheap rubber or latex gloves and pop the head off and see whats up. Use a mild soap to clean, a cotton swab and or an old torn up sock would be my best bet. Might what to try this outside incase it stinks. Wash the head out first and then take out the body. It might be able to be washed in the laundry...

I would try to return it though before any of the above. It is probably a harmless blob of paint... or a hedorah in progress.

Id like to see more pics though
