dizzy8080 wrote: Any idea on the edition run of the drag? how many more times are you going to ask this question? SB, Gargamel, RxH, ect......do not release run numbers. If they release it you will know when it is announced. |

no worries...it is not just you. I am just sick of this question. The real answer is: who cares what the run numbers are. |

maybe it helps determine priority in buying things? if there are 500 of something then it can wait a little longer than something that has a run of 50 if you cant get both at once |

yah when I pm'd Ramos to tell him I wanted the GID I asked because if it is a big run I expect that I will be able to pick it up (possibly for cheaper) when I am at the thrashout store in Tokyo in two weeks. Either way I must have the piece I just want to know if I need to buy it now or can wait the two weeks. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry though, so Ramos I NEED IT! |

If you are collecting japanese soft vinyl there is never a 500 run of any color way. Maybe some of the Godzillas and Marmit toys are near 500. pickleloaf wrote: maybe it helps determine priority in buying things? if there are 500 of something then it can wait a little longer than something that has a run of 50 if you cant get both at once |

agree that GID mini Drag is INCREDIBLE!! A big one would be x 10 If I can't own a War Dragon a large GID one of these would be a nice second. |

If you see something you like, and you can afford it, you should just get it regardless of its edition |

mangakaben wrote: If you see something you like, and you can afford it, you should just get it regardless of its edition Totally. Given that most/all of the newer JP vinyl companies produce figures in low runs, availability seems to be more dependent on the popularity of the item than the actual production numbers. |

While I truly don't mean to imply anything about the person who asked the question in this case, one of the reasons why the "how many" question is met with resistance is because flippers use this info to set their "market value" accordingly. |

dizzy8080 wrote: Any idea on the edition run of the drag? There is no predetermined edition size for most Gargamel releases. The number just depends on how many orders we get. We only make however many are ordered, plus a small number for release at Thrash Out. |
