I know that Secret Base made a Skullbee that was clear blue vinyl with glow vinyl poured inside of it. Completely awesome looking. But did they do this -- or something similar -- with any other toys? |

Gargamel did it with 2 Hedorans (orange crawling and a green walking) and recently I think Kaiju for Grown Ups did one with one of their sculpts. Koji from Gargamel said that it's clear vinyl and than GID Vinyl poored inside. I THINK the Bee you mean is the same deal. Clear blue vinyl w/GID inside. |

Yeah that's it. Blue/greenish I guess would have been more proper. Or teal? Aqua? Listerine? |

That's the bee I was thinking of -- I'd heard it was clear blue vinyl with GID vinyl poured into it... So blue, aqua, whatever. I was more concerned about the technique than the specific color. Love the way it looks, and wouldn't mind seeing more toys like that. |

Dream Rocket Doguma (counterattack ver.) was also produced with a similar technique, I believe. Both in a painted and a sweet-looking unpainted version. That Bee looks great. I was never too enthused about those releases (the box sets with artwork?), but, hmmm, wouldn't mind one after seeing it up close... |
