Yes, he will match the black w/ white paint ichiban. (which is not technically the first version) but will make a great set none the less. and Vince, mori doesen't do much w/ this guy... cause hes brand new, this is the 2nd idderation of the figure. Im diggin this fig.. and the colorway works for me. |

If the Gold Mist had more red paint to highlight it a bit, I'd have gone for that, but there's so many little cool details on this I wanted to wait for a full painted one. This is it too, I don't have the Ninja to match, but it stands on its own I feel. |

I know some like 'em and the completists have to have 'em but the unpainted and minimally painted don't really float my boat . . . this guy seems to really pop with this paint app. If I don't manage to snag this one at least it bodes well for future incarnations! |

vince, the ninja w/ 1 eye (like chaos) is called Ichibanboshi. This figure is called Mikazuki Joe - they are 2 seperate figures. this is the 2nd colorway (idderation) of Mikazuki Joe. |

What do you mean no fun playing catch up? I love sitting here and hitting the search to bide my time. Seriously, it's all I did for a month or 2, scroll through everyone's already existing collectins, learn who makes what and all that. I loved it, still do too when I get the chance. Assimilation is fun as well though. |

Actually.... The first figure is called Ryusei (shooting Star)Ninja and is a ichibanboshi figure made by RxH. The Mikazuki Joe is a seperate figure, the second in the series and is called Gekko (moonlight) Ninja. |

http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=12818 See data's post in this thread if you're a name freak. Isn't there a third colorway of Mikazuki Joe? Or is that still in the works? |

okay, okay Ichibanboshi is the store in which these figures are inspired or collaborated w/ or whatever. ryusei is the tech. name of the ninja, gekko is the tech. name for this fellow. I have heard the ryusei ninja referred to so many times as the ichi ninja - it has stuck in my head. so, can we say ichibanboshi is the name of this line of real head figures (starting w/ ryusei ninja and now including the gekko) ? |

Yes, Ichibanboshi is the name of the store which originally sold one or more of these figures. Per datadub's info: The eyepatch ninja is "Ryusei Ninja Ichibanboshi." The new guy is "Gekko Ninja Mikazuki Joe." So, yes, we're all correct, sort of. |

The colorway reminds me of the black/white Ryusei Ninja 'way. ...Except that thanks to toybot, whenever I see it now, I'll think "you've got egg on your face." Thanks, toybotstudios. I think that nice red/gold Ryusei colorway would work nicely on this one too ... and hopefully, an S7 clear orange w/black and gold colorway is inevitable as well. |
