This is something I've been working on for a long time, and a much needed resource, I think. It took all kinds of Web scouring (almost entirely on Japanese sites) to compile the info.

Anyway, for folks who are interested, I just put together the first checklist - for Zyurai Asu. It's up on KK now.

And how is your work on the Cronic mook coming along?

But seriously, that is a great resource. I can't imagine how long it must have taken you to track all of the release information down.

There is also a Black w/ GREY pinstripe...by the looks of it it's another older one. I've also seen pics for a clear Green w/ RED pinstripe. I don't think either were one-offs...

Cheers, I like giving back to the hobby and being as active as I can.

I'm not naming the figures for now. Too hit and miss since a lot of figures have similar names, and some get messed up in the translation.

The one you're referring to is:

___ Painted Black (Cronic Webstore – July)

I think things will get clearer as more pics go up over time.

Ah, I think I may have mislabeled one. Wasn't sure if the stripes were white or grey... You're referring to the one you bought on YJA a few months ago, right?

I believe "clear Green w/ RED pinstripe" is a one-off from the set he sold in an acrylic case.

Heh, well, we'll see... ;)

Cheers. It's taken me about a year to compile all the info. Nailing the info on the 2005 releases was the toughest. Still a couple of question marks. One of the reasons for publishing the list was to get a lot of eyes on it, so it can be honed to perfection. I've "stickied" the link to the list on the right hand side of the blog, so it won't be buried to oblivion over time as more blog entries are added. So check it from time to time to see if modifications have been made and/or pics have been added. At this stage, I reckon it's around 90-95% complete/accurate. 8)

The set was sold in that painted case? That's pretty amazing...I bet it cost the equivalent of what some people are paying for a single figure these days...

Yep that's the one I thought you were referring to. Thanks for clarifying the grey vs. white stripe issue.

Yeah, the green with red stripes was in a "Cronic case" sold at the 2006 Summer Wonfer Festival. I think the price was 40,000 yen or so. It came with 5 figures, most of which were one-offs!

I'm going to put up a Dorome checklist soon, since it's the shortest and I have all the pics up on the site. Then comes Maverasu.

But first another Maverasu spotlight, coming in 30 minutes or so....

nice list and i don't even collect this stuff! i think it's wonderful that you are doing such a thing. i wish there were more checklists like this all over for all kinds of toys.

and yr even doing it bi-lingual! you must be cronic's number 1 fan.

i thank you greatly for letting me in on the 1 cronic i own, the maxtoy exclusive, that sits right above my apple computer, right in front of my face at all times. the light comes in thru the window behind my display and it just looks so beautiful around 3-4 oclock. i look at it constantly because of it's location, among the miniature salt water and deep water fish that swim around it!

RIght on, thanks for the encouragement. I'll be adding more photos to the Mav checklist shortly.

But I think you've got me mixed up with someone else. I only ever got one Max Toy set, for my collection. Actually, I've been trying to pick up a second unopened set, to go with...well, I'll drop that news another time. 8)

(If anyone has an unopened Max Toy Dorogami or unopened painted Mav for sale or trade, please let me know!

EDIT: Found em both!!!)
