I liked how they invoked the D unny in the 2nd one, to try to trick you into liking them. (disclaimer: I love them, the bad toys you dont speak of here, that is) |

I tihnk it looks like a Mad Barbarrian design myself. but it does qualify as "Japanese Vinyl" its got everything:
japanese designer japanese origin for the japanese market I think just cuz Mad B's have done a Western vinyl before, and thats what we've seen first, our context is that they are "Western" designers. I kind of like it just cuz it fucks with "purist" western collector's (of Jvinyl) definitions. The designs are imho good too |

I like them alot because you can see Mori's influence in the characters. They are cartoony but I just think that adds to the flavor. |

I'm digging them, but we'll see w/paint. I don't know who or what these Mad toys are, and the clowny-ness of the hands don't bug me too much. Barbarians sell me though. Data, the real question is: was that green splatter Chaos released or just to tease or a off or what? |

I really liked the first photo-shopped pic the most. I LOVE the pearl green though, and I'd like teh figure more without the huge lopsided psychobilly quiff. But overall - I am digging it. One thing, his left hand looks identical to the hands on the Madtoyz madskulls form a few years back - I guess its a clown glove thing that they both have going on. Oh yeah: thanks for posting the pics, especailly teh 'shopped teaser ones. I look forward to those pics appearing in soeone wants list n teh not too distant future |

HA, In that first pic I thought the guy in the backgrounds wallet chain was an earing on it! Didn't catch the mirror work. I wouldn't grab this unpainted, but I think I'd be in for a painted one. I kinda like it, it's fun and stupid and it's all toys anyway. |

I would need to see it painted as the blank Jinja R didn't do much for me. But after it was painted, I appreciated it more. |

I think we will see a few no-paints before the full paint version - apparently the masks for this sucker will be quite intense. The sculpt is pretty intense so I recommend everybody buy 1 or 2 to help build momentum |
