That first sentence, replace "energy" with "money" and I feel the same. One day............................................................ |

oh god...I was already planning a trip to japan in Feb. without knowing that there would be a toy convention that month. That means I gotta save up a whole lot more if I still plan on going that month... |

Cool, i'll be there. Not sure if they have announced a date, yet, but the last Sunday in Feb. seems like a good bet. I'm going to see if my girlfriend wants to go to Beijing and HK while we're in the area. Flight rates seem to be fairly reasonable for that week, espescially if you can fly over on the previous Sat. I found one for 988 roundtrip from Tampa to Tokyo. |

OMG...this thread is in the wrong place. Someone get the forum nazi!! LOL!! Back to the discussion: I was originally planning on heading to Japan mid to late Feb just to visit a friend who is staying WAY up north (Aomori). I guess those plans are going to change now. The worst part might be finding a hotel on those dates. Taking the train around is not a problem for me and for those of you travelling, here's a neat little trick. If you know where you're going but can't figure out how much it is, you can just buy a ticket and just before you exit your station, go to an Add Fare machine and there you are. I did this a lot when I was in Japan for the first few days and it worked out well travelling around Tokyo. Maybe I should go after the Fest. I'm sure the airfare will be much cheaper. |

My girl and I have been talking about making a Japan trip for a while now. Wonder Festival and and some RFSO might just be the motivation I need to blow the dough. |

I had originally planned to visit Japan this month, but ran into a busy work schedule. Thought about going in January, but if everyone wants to meet up in Feb it would be nice to meet all of you over there |

If a few people are seriously going, we should schedule a Nerdquake-type party at a local bar. We might be able to drum up a few choice scores before we even line up for the show!
Anybody? |
