I can understand why people get into bemons but they're not for me. Hedorah aka Smog Monster is the original OG anyhow. A Bemon is just a bastard offspring of Jabba the Hut and a smog monster anyhow right? If the guy who makes them is so gung ho for americans "not" to have them then tell him to stop watching Star Wars for inspiration. P.S. Following another tack: - If there were no Godzilla, there probably wouldn't be an Aurora Godzilla model kit. - If there were no Aurora Godzilla model kit, there probably wouldn't be a Marusan Godzilla toy. - If there were no Marusan Godzilla toy, there probably wouldn't have been a kaiju sofubi boom in the 60s. - If there was no kaiju sofubi boom in the 60s, there probably wouldn't have been a kaiju sofubi resurgence in the 90s. - If there was no kaiju sofubi resurgence in the 90s, there probably wouldn't be a Bemon. So both of our cultures are caught up in an endless cycle of war, love, hate, and poly vinyl chloride. Given that the whole thing starts with a horrific act of violence there's bound to be some prejudice somewhere. |
