yeah, I'm not even entertaining the idea of coming close to that one, but I wanted to see more pictures if someone did have one. a lottery release would be great, but i'm happy just to get the regular production pieces and the ones between. :)

Was it known how many where made? My guess is that all of these never left Japan. If a lurker out there has one and is just reluctant to post. Please PM pictures to me and I'll be more than happy to post it here for you.

yeah, that's the one. I've seen other pics of the lottery rangeas that were less flattering, but these images are great. I think the bottom pic is a one-off that was auctioned at some toy event (maybe taipei toy festival?) last year.

Yeah, the bottom one is from Taipei Toy Festival 2007. I think andy's blog has some better photos of it.

I think I remember seeing that there were 5 total of the handpaint Rangeas. Can anyone confirm this?

can you get chef to give you some pics to post here? good ones, higher rez? i'd really like to see him in all his glory but i doubt i'll ever lay eyes on one so a good pic is as clsoe as im gonna get ;)
