i thought it had already been agreed that maxtoy/eyezone stuff belongs in american, not japan. having said that, if anyone isn't feeling theirs, i'd love to get ahold of one of these. thx! |

Never heard of any agreements. Well it's a Kaiju made in China and produced by a Japanese American, sourced in Kaijuland Japan and North America, has so far had collaborations with Rumble Monsters (Japanese) and now Paul Kaiju (American) and God knows what's coming next. Pretty confusing if u ask me. |

Max Toy Co is an American company, and Eyezon is an original character designed by Mark Nagata. |

akum6n wrote: Max Toy Co is an American company, and Eyezon is an original character designed by Mark Nagata. Kinda hypocritical since Dokuwashi's are also posted in this section. Just my 2 cents, not here to argue so if the mods feel the need to remove this then go ahead. Otherwise good luck in scoring this! |

Otherwise good luck in scoring this! dokuwashi's are made in japan. they have more reason to be here. i have the first two eyezons. i really like the sculpt when i first saw, when i actually got them in hand they felt kind of cheap and the paint was just so-so. still a pretty cool toy, i just think the inferiority of chinese manufacturing hurt it. |

Not a toy, but a whole lot of Toyotas are made in Fremont, CA. Does that mean that my Toyota is an American car? As for Eyezon, it was designed by Mark Nagata. I'm pretty sure he's Japanese. Just playing Devil's advocate. |

havingmysay wrote: dokuwashi's are made in japan. they have more reason to be here. That I did not know. Well I do agree the quality on Eyezons are not up to par with home grown J vinyls. Just that Max Toy is a promoter of Japanese toys (like Super7) so automatically most people will associate Mark's creations as Japanese. Eyezon is 100% Kaiju in my book. Well he's also a potato... hm...... |

My apologies to everyone for being part of that thread derailment earlier. This PK Eyezon is amazing. I'll be hoping to find one of these in the For Sale forum someday since I'm not a club member. For everyone who actually gets one, please, please post lots of photos of it. I have a feeling that is the only way I'll ever see one. |
