I hope they've finalized the move by April. :wink:

Goes to show how fast the toy scene changes these days in Toyko. That's 2 shops at least (Forest Gangu is the other) that have vanished or moved in the last few months.

5 years ago, you could pretty much count on shops staying put, for the long haul. That all pretty much started falling apart starting with Golden Age leaving Ueno for Akihabara a few years back. Then again, Forest Gangu did move 2 or 3 times over the years before sailing into the sunset...

Sorry for the hijack....Forest Gangu isn't in Sugamo anymore? Did they just move, as well, or completely close up shop?

The latest Sugamo shop just around the corner from the realtor closed a few months back. I haven't heard of them relocating.

From the way the owner was discounting stuff the last time I was there, my sense is he was getting out of the business, but Baikin or someone else would probably be better able to confirm that.
