I can't tell for certain, but I believe this is the bubble-vinyl in green - Love it! S7 confirms they will be getting at least some of these, but they do not yet know when or how many. (Maybe this is part of the delayed package?) Word is that this dropped at RxH yesterday, but I'm not sure - Seems likely someone would have mentioned it here by now, if that were so. Either way, we'll know more very soon - Enjoy!

Amazing, it's the one I was most taken w/from the RxH shop pics, wow! Ugh................................................I hope it is released next Sat, I'm most likely heading up to KY so I hope distro shops get em too. Fantastic! |

I knew this thing looked familiar - Here it is from mondo's store opening pics. So, indeed it is 'bubble' green. I can't wait, I hope I can score one of these from S7! (And, this makes me wonder even more what other prize paints from that case are upcoming ... Either gold Chaos would be nice, or that powder-blue pair, or the gold/purple Bigaro, or ... ) (Yes, S7 confirmed they're getting these by correspondence, not in a thread post. I was concerned because there had been no mention here of any 2.9 store release, and I didn't want to spoil any surprise or step on anyone's toes, so I wrote S7 to get their OK before posting the above pic.) 
And, I was just playing around with color reversals, and 'created' another one I'd love to see - gold-bubble with blue eyes, anyone?

My toy budget has dropped to an all time low so the only way I'm going to be able to score one is with Super 7... |

I'd like to see this technique used on a Chaos or two. It would also be interesting to see a kind of mixed-media (or maybe it should be mixed-style) technique used, with this one paired with traditional spray - maybe some masking, etc. There has been an explosion in new styles and techniques over the last year. There's still all kinds of potential for combining techniques. Unfortunately there has been a concurrent explosion in unpainted/single color figures, which, I think, we could do with less of. |

just did, and checked my collection. don't see any chaos figures using the same technique. i haven't received the recent jan releases yet, but yeah from the pics it looks like the grey is done in the same style, right? |
