This location doesn't exactly scream "look at me!" either. I kind of like that about it. However, if I was wandering around the streets searching for hours I probably wouldn't be as charitable. |

The first SB was indeed ridiculously hard to find. Even with a basic map that Brian Flynn was kind enough tp provide, we wondered around for hours. Part of teh problem being that we didn't look up enough, the other being that I was with no Jp vinyl collectors (who were good sports though). But what a store, big, bright, wide open, and a huge case of 12" figures - recently seen in teh awesome 12" suit sale. My first trip to Japan I visited there 5 times that week - what a shame all my photos got deleted in a digital camera snafu! I do have video tho - all on a freakin' digital video cassette which is somewhere??? I wasn't such a fan of teh last store, but seeing teh new store makes a return to Japan top priority again. |

Im a big apparel guy so when I went to tokyo i spent so much time in Harajuku picking up new kicks and stuff...but the reason I spent so much time was largely due to how hard it is to find everystore even with maps...haha I know how you feel |

So I guess there were no hot new releases to celebrate/commemorate the new store opening then? |

I also had the pleasure of taking some instructions from Mr Flynn on how to get to the first location. Unfortunately some of it was already outdated. I walked around for what seemed like hours. I eventually walked into astro mike near by and asked. They were nice enough to offer to walk me there. The old(old) spot was SO so awesome. Ill never forget walking in the for first time. |

Yeah, BH is amazingly easy to find once you have your bearings. You basically exit the subway, walk down Takeshita street...keep walking....pause to look at the Goth chicks...cross the big street with the stop light....keep walking.....and boom you'll hit a T intersection at the end of the street. TUrn to your left, walk 10 seconds, and you'll see BH on your right. So, it's pretty much go straight and turn left. |

Does this mean there will be a Tokyo Underground update? |

Winu wrote: Does this mean there will be a Tokyo Underground update? Bounty Hunter is in Tokyo Underground so just go upstairs. If they do an update just for that I would be amazed. But the RxH shop has just opened up so maybe after a few more shops open and move maybe they'd consider an update. |

Other shops have come and gone. (Forrest Gangu comes to mind) since the book came out. Nature of the beast in Japan these days, I'm afraid. (Stores used to stay in one place for years and years.) That's why I check out the ads in the back of Hyper Hobby and Figure King before each trip - to see if anyone has moved and if there are any new shops in town. |
