this is the 'rana cat' by US Toys. the character is the mascot for the toy shop 'godzilla ya' in japan. we just got in a white version, and ill be posting a pre-order for the two shown above sometime today. they are about the same size as a regular RxH figure, and are $55. |

It's this cat (one of them anyway):
I think Godzilla-Ya 2 is the restaurant, and the store is on the other side of the building. It wasn't open that day. I kind of want one of those cats. |

I once had a cat we'd 'belled' to protect the local birds ... It took her a long time, but she actually learned how to hold the bell in her mouth while she stalked and drop it to pounce, so we had to move her indoors. She always was too damn smart for her own good (but she lived to the ripe old age of 21!) |

There was a pre-order a couple of weeks ago. It was for a different colorway...all white, different from the pic I posted. I was going to get one but when I got no response about the size, I just let it go and didn't bother to pre-order, and that's why I posted this thread. I was kinda hoping that they would be a little bigger than RxH figures. |

Yep. it was closed last time i tried to go too. Crapazoids. Was in there years ago though, and it was awesome. Tiny and beautiful just like you would imagine. it's actually upstairs. jebcrow wrote: akum6n wrote: It's this cat (one of them anyway): ![]() I think Godzilla-Ya 2 is the restaurant, and the store is on the other side of the building. Both the shop and bar are awesome. Shop is upstairs, tiny, and jam-packed full of stuff. The bar has booze, toys hanging from the ceiling, and Bullmark posters in the bathroom. Both wholly worthwhile. |

Hah hah...nah, that was a bar in Kichijoji we went to, strangely called "Bar Jap". I think we've got some video from Godzilla-ya's bar in Koenji I can post sometime. |
