| Post subject: | The Story of Blobpus... |
Does anyone know the backstory behind the character (or where I can find it)? I have read the small bits of information in the interview with Kaji in the latest Super7 (see below), but was wondering if there was more information someplace. I looked around on the blopbus blog a little, but didn't come up with anything - maybe I missed it. Here is the paragraph from the mag that gives a little bit of information: "The eyes of Blobpus are sewn and closed. This is the symbol of a post traumatic scar on his heart. His four small eyes symbolize the potentially positive future that can come from enduring such a scar. Eventually the small eyes will grow bigger and will emit a strong energy to light the future. Also, the suction cup covered octopus arms symbolize the strength to hold down a foundation to create the positive future." But does anybody know anything else? Where does he come from? Where does he live? Good, bad, or both? What is his disposition? How did he get the scar on his heart? Who sewed his eyes? Why is he holding what appears to be a human skull in his hand? Etc. Thanks! |
