Post subject:  kamen Rider Enemy
Thinking about why this borg released at the same time with the 1st kamen rider chaosman. And that guy look so familiar.
I pickup the vintage VCD and watch the opening of kamen rider. OH SHOT, the borg is the bad guy who ALWAYS come up in every episode of kamen rider !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am HUGE shocker fan!
Technically they are called Shocker Sentouin - which means foot soldiers - since shocker was the name of the evil organization that Kamen Rider battled against - but in common Japanese parlance if you say shocker - most people think of a hapless henchman in a black body suit. (yeah we stole this for Norton Fighter)

I love Shocker and I love Hone Borg but I fail to see the resemblance -- I think the Borg is just a badass version that doesn't necessarily tie in to the recent Kamen Rider tribute release.
