I was looking at a japanese sofubi blog when I came across this picture. Yes the sofubi is badass, I wish these guys were more affordable... nonetheless the pic in the book of Samurai vs. Aliens is exactly the kind of speculative science that I love. loved that show as a kid. I always thought mr spock was actually on quest for these elusive mysteries. I think I like the painting more than the figure though. |

i shared this link a while back but this gives more info on the historical background of this item.. http://www.e-yakimono.net/html/jomon-dogu.html you can see its influence in several microman toys and a few others. did the marmit one ever come out yet? |

But the only Marmit Doguu I have seen so far is the first (unpainted-mud-brown-vinyl) one. Have any more come out, or is this a pic of the next one? |
