Post subject:  Bigaro influence?

I am not sure if this was ever discussed but does anyone know if Ram Man from Masters of the Universe had any influence on the creation of Bigaro's torso?

Interesting. I used to love ram-man. He was one of my first he-man characters that I owned.

Hmm. Interesting theory.
But the Spartan-like crest doesn't fit with the Ram-Man look.

I miss my He-Man collection. Bastard roofers stole a bunch of my old toys that were stored in my parents attic.

A Bigaro with colors of the Custom Gouf would be awesome.

I always saw the Ram Man connection. I think there's a bit of MOTU in the whole RxH line. Re-using bodies, tattered shorts (or loin cloths?)

I mean, lots of OTHER influences too, but MOTU was something I loved as a kid and really made me feel connected to RxH seeing the influence right away.

RxH walks the perfect line of action figure, nostalgia and art for me (and I hate the word "art" when it comes to my toys.) Not too much of one to turn me off, but just enough of each to be what it is.

But the action figure part I don't see as much in other neo-kaiju/fight figures. Not shit-talking others, they all have other reasons they rock.

Speaking of Bigaro, do all of them come with the foam inserts to hold the head on like the flesh one does? I only own one bigaro other than the flesh, which is the pickle bigs, and I can understand it not having foam because it's clear, but are they all like that? Or do they all have the foam to make the head sturdy?

Different ones have different "head holds". All of the solids paints have the foam front and back to hold the head on. The BB clear has nothing for the head but a paper plug to hold the BB's in. The Black Alpha is on a clear head so you can see the Alpha mark painted on the body through the head piece - it has a single piece of velcro in the back holding it on. The Bigaos (Bigaro Head on a Chaos body does not have foam because the head fits the contour of the body so well. Now the mini's have a single piece of foam in the back.

There is your Bigaro head lesson for today.
