warning: Fresh Meat real x head question:

i have a very dumb question. i dont collect real x head, but love looking at them and love seeing everyone's collections. seems like in the last year there have been like a zlliion chaos figures released, but i havent noticed many of the other figures. when i was looking through the Mook and seeing what some of the older Mutant Heads and Evils looked like, i was blown away.

are they getting no love or are they released in such small numbers i never see them?

Fresh Meat questions are always ok!!! Esp. when it comes to RxH. I still consider myself a bit of a Fresh Meat too, especially when you consider longtime members like the crazy Doc.

Anyway, its an astute observation on your part to notice the lack of Mutant Head and Evils...and even Bigaros released nowadays. Head & Evil helped launch the brand for sure, and have some of the coolest, simplest color sprays EVER. These figures were released in anywhere from 3 - 20 figures in some cases, and the really early ones were even handpainted, which makes them instantly "grail" material.

The Chaos character apparently really took RxH's business "mainstream" if you can really classify it as such, but Chaos is the most popluar figure today I guess. And the answer to the rest of your question is: YES, a bunch of Chaos figures were released last year, apparently in a ramp up effort to fund the store opening, and YES, its now like....a special treat to see new Evil, Head and Bigaro figures.
