Anybody know what the difference between ver. 1.0 and 1.0a is? Just curious, and they both look identical in the pictures I've seen...

I think 1a has a red pupil in his protruding TV eye.. also I think its the one w/ green back.

In that one picture I was looking at last night it looked like one had a red dot on the eye and the other one was white.

Thanks Matt - looks like a few other slight differences but only in the paint application, not really in the design. What a killer sculpt...

I think you are right.

here's version 1:

This sculpt is awesome in a really crude way. It plays tricks on your mind.

I put mine on the floor and stare at it.

Version 1 is my favorite. Tried to win one on the bay but got outbid. Still trying to track one down. Great photo Paul.

Took me a while to warm up to the flesh eye part but otherwise really cool. The paint does some weird things late at night and its a nice change from all of the clean lines in other toys.

I just received version 1.0 and it is pretty spectacular. The undercoat of blue paint in the front was covered up more than I recall in the initial photos but it does change into funky purples in the light. It really is a nice change up from other figures and one of the more original sculpts for sure. I have the all white version too and it really shows off the detail in the figure really well, I'll try to take some pics.

I just love this toy! It plays right into my since of the bizarre and abstract. This image really shows off the David Cronenberg Videodrome style TV head.
Thanks Paul.

Same here. First time I saw one I wasn't interested at all.

Now I'm really hoping to snag a blue or red one and can't wait for the one I've got on pre-order to drop in June!

there is so much emotional depth to the expression
this odd vinyl figure has that it quite literally seems
to produce a psychological effect on the beholder.

its really fascinating to look at & seems itself to be
looking back at the world through the eyes of a toy.
