TOTAL NEWBIW QUESTION BUT I AM CURIOUS TO KNOW. WHAT WOULD ONE EXPECT TO PAY FOR SKULLWINGS THESE DAYS? I KNOW THEY RARELY POP UP AND MOST ARE EXPENSIVE PIECES BUT I WANNA KNOW. SHOULD I ABANDON THOUGHtS OF OWNING THESE?

1. Red version, astro zombies exclusive = $X
2. Glow vinyl with silver spray = $X
3. Glow vinyl with blue spray = $X
4. Grey vinyl, Pushead Fan Club exclusive = $X
5. White flocked version, WCC 21 (December 2005) = $X
6. Hand Painted flocked version, various colors (December 2005) = $X
7. Black vinyl with white head and red star, Osaka Superfest (February 2006) = $X
8. Black vinyl with green head, Osaka Superfest chase version (February 2006) = $X

too much is relative to... how much money you want to spend.... ;)

but here is my 2 cents about a pricing range. (Disclaimer: not what i paid for mine.)

1. Red version, astro zombies exclusive = $175 - $225
2. Glow vinyl with silver spray = $150-$175
3. Glow vinyl with blue spray = $150-$175
4. Grey vinyl, Pushead Fan Club exclusive = $75 - $125
5. White flocked version, WCC 21 (December 2005) = $175-$225
6. Hand Painted flocked version, various colors (December 2005) = $400 - $1000
7. Black vinyl with white head and red star, Osaka Superfest (February 2006) = $50 - $75
8. Black vinyl with green head, Osaka Superfest chase version (February 2006) = $65-$80

Yup, lurker is right on the money I'd say as far as the current market goes...BTW, I'd gladly pay $150 for the glow w/ silver spray :wink:

I think it all sounds pretty good so far. However, I think anything beyond the $400 or (BIG MAYBE) - anything over for the Painted Flocks is kinda NUTTY ! But then again - who knows. I guess it boils down to how badly a collector wants something for thier collection . I can only realy speak for myself,and i'm not going there ! So those willing to dol out the cash don't hafta contend with me. Good Luck in your searches.

i know i've paid more for some of those, but i'm a big sucker. i rather feel secure knowing i have the pieces i want, than waiting for them to disappear.

thanks for the list lurker. i'm not ACTIVELY in search of anything as far a skullwings go 9of coarse i'd buy if something came my way for a good price), i just wanted a general idea on cost since i just got into sb figs. seems like you're in the right range according to most. gracias! :evil:
