First let me clarify that I am asking the following without even a hint of sarcasm...it's like asking a 'so wait, lemme get this straight...he rose from the DEAD?' question about Jesus because yes, you do love him that much. RxH Chaos. I think I've figured out (mostly via comparison on Joe's superb mini database page) the distinctions between the different Chaos models, but I want the experts (you) to vet my findings...mostly because even if I'm correct, I'm surely still incomplete. So here goes: Chaosman: Chaos head, cat-style eyechip, undamaged arms with alien fingers + cuffs, shirtless + shorts, skull buckle. Mutant Chaos: Chaos head, iris-style eyechip, damaged arms w/ antenna thing, damaged body. Chaos Fighter: Chaos head, cat-style eyechip, damaged arms w/ antenna thing, shirtless + shorts, skull buckle. Mutant Head: Ultraman head (right name?), undamaged arms (from above), shirtless + shorts, skull buckle Mutant Evil: Evil head, undamaged arms (from above), shirtless + shorts, skull buckle === The following would apply to both fullsize and minis, as they are true copies in all ways but paint and size, right? Any help would be great. I don't URGENTLY need to crack the code that is RxH, but I've been getting into them lately and figured it'd be good to know the difference. If the above is true, can someone verify that the Mutant Chaos (damaged) body has a tail? I thought I saw a pic of this, but I only have Chaosmen at the moment, and they, of course, don't. And, as always, if this isn't the place to ask this, please don't hate on the Fresh Meat. Too much. |

Mutant Chaos does have a tail. And I think you're right about everything else. |

a mook would help tremendously, especially for everything full size you're missing here. especially with whats what, whats semi attainable and what isn't. Nowadays it also seems many people go after the codes/#s in the mook. |

This may be one of those times, but, a 'mook', you say, young man? The only mook I know is Colin (of dorky ActionScript reference) and the derogatory name for one race or creed or another. I am reading between the lines in your post, however, and I agree: some sort of centralized repository of rich info would be great. I do understand, however, that it'd sort of take the thrill outta the hunt for a lot of people... |

It's helpful to think of the Mutant Chaos as one of the original four fighters (which it is, along with Mutant Head, Bigaro, and Mutant Evil.) The permutations thereafter make more sense if you regard those first four as the RxH foundation (although several original characters came along afterwards, with new ones still being periodically introduced.) The Chaos Man wasn't one of the first four, but rather a permutation of pre-existing parts. As another couple of examples: Armored Chaos - Mutant Chaos head on Akrokaiser body (which is basically the same as the Mutant Head body, except with upper-body armor.) Bigaos - Bigaro with one Mutant Chaos probe arm. There's a unique Super7 x RxH figure that we've come to call "Chomp," which was the extra figure you'd get for free if you bought the other four Super7 2007 Halloween figures. He's S7's Stomp with one RxH Mutant Chaos probe arm. Here's another testimonial that the Mook is an incredibly worthy investment. |

I think you are pretty spot on except the chaosfighters (my favorite of the chaos sculplt) do not have cat eyes (at least most of them don't)... there could be exceptions in some cases I am guessing... like when or when not to have the use of the bandana! |

The "ultraman" mutant head was a custom/tribute to ultraman. The mook is awesome and explains a lot. You'll love it. |

I was just trying to explain that it was a homage and not what the mutant head is normally referred to. |

I really appreciate all the help...thanks guys! I'm feeling like a double-stuffed moron...for a few reasons: 1. I have the mook. I bought it *before* I was even into kaiju because I was a fan of Super7 and Hybrid Design. I pulled it down, dusted it off, and lo and behold, there it was...chock full of details. 2. I didn't even think to mention the scarf. Which, as it so happens, is one of my favorite aspects of these characters...and I know that's totally lame. As my wife points out to me, she could cut out a piece of fabric and make a scarf for 1000% Andy Warhol or Crocodile Hat Solid Snake or Dokugan or whoever. But the heart wants what it wants. => So then, do the scarves mostly/only come on the chaosmen? I noticed that there's one on the new Kamen Rider Mutant Head (got! Thanks for all the discourse and clarification on the Ultraman ref., btw) but is that a pretty rare thing to have happen? Last but not least, another question. This one has less to do with me being a moron and more to do with a hunch about the fact that OF COURSE I'd be into the hardest thing to get: Are the Chaoqs like totally impossible to track down? The Mook has just the two (and by Chaoq I'm referring to the Chaos head on the Kewpie-esque/Bero Bero body) and they are superb...but I haven't seen these anywhere on the boards here, so figured I'd ask. I did a google search not expecting much and found a post from back in October on KT mentioning key phrases like 'lottery' and 'only 10', so I'm bracing myself. But figured I'd ask. Again...if it's a totally obvious thing, please excuse my moronic tendencies. Thanks again. Woo! Thursday! |

I know of the purple, green, n the kaizine 005 lottery ( i believe) black one. I hope that's all there were, then I might stand a chance. |
