I just picked this up. I know nothing about this figure/character other than the fact that it looks absolutely kick ass. if anyone has any background info on it, it would be cool....

Basically, I was wondering if this was an original concept figure or based on a character from some obscure 70's Japanese action show, like in the vein of Rainbow's Barom-1 stuff or Dreak Rockets Akakage stuff.... |

They were selling the red ones at HobbyCon a couple of months back, so that one at least is pretty new. |
