Is this a special material, really good paint, or actually vac-metallized like I mentioned the other day in the SB section? Incredibly AWESOME! Get these, we must. Especially silver for me. ^_^ |

I am sure they are Vinyl and like Nostro mentioned probably vac-metalized. It is possible. I know there are a few of the 400% Kubricks that are "metalicized" but they are of a different plastic composition. Very Curious. And hey Z - here's anotheron for you. I just thought that electroplating may crack being on a soft plastic like vinyl. They look real nice though. Guess we shall find out what they are made of soon enough. |

The cracking definitely sounds possible, but have you inspected the metallic Gargamel Gacha Mecha, or Gacha Dos up close? They look electroplated to me. |

Hyper - I didn't think of the Gargamel Gacha. I haven't seen a chrome one in the flesh though. Until I got my own Gacha (not chromed) I tghought they were hard plastic. I was surprised when I finally got mine. |

http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/search/auc?p=blobpus&auccat=0&alocale=0jp&acc=jp If you want 'em, get 'em! Each metal is up for 6000 yen (each), which is pretty amazing. Looks like most auctions end on 5/1/06... KW |
