Okay, a month or so ago i picked up one of these (at least I think it is).

only trouble is, is that it's a whole lot more 'green' looking than the other ones i've seen. It seems as though the blue was applied the whole way over the sculpt instead of thinly, and in turn has 'mixed' with the gold to make it look green. It has the red mouth and windscreen.

the other thing i'm not sure about, the eyes are silver but they're not painted, they're diamante type things. Is this the same on all of them?

either way it was ridiculously cheap so i'm not too fazed, just interested in the info!

Did you buy this on ebay recently? I remember seeing a smogun about a month ago for sale that looked more green than the lucky bag painted gold version. (the auction photo showed 4 smogun figures) I couldn't figure out if it was just a bad photo or a different version.

You should post a clear photo of it.

yeah it is indeed that smogun. I saw it and was confused by his description and asked him whether it was the gold LB - he said it looked like it but his was a lot more green. my flatmate just suggested taking it apart so will do that and check what colour it is on the inside.

after looking through some pictures of the actual LBs, i'm almost 100% this is some kind of custom. the eyes do not look the same at all! it doesn't look crap though, just really not sure now. pissed i don't have a full set though, heh.

Yeah..that's not from this year's lucky bag. it could be a custom or maybe a koji lb but it's definetly not the garg one from 2008

it looks a lot different than the LB versions. Is there a signature or number on the foot? I know the handpaints had that stuff.

Otherwise it looks like someone tried to hp a gold and messed up

nah it definitely is not a LB, it's not even gold! the vinyl colour appears an olive/khaki colour, but I think it might have been dyed or something. I think it's was originally the original colourway, due to the placement/colour of the red. Would dying something only change the colour of the vinyl, not the vinyl and paint? weird.

anyway i think i'm gonna spray it all black, heh.
