Has anyone found a Godzilla that looks good sitting next the CCP Hedorah project figures?

I love the Hedorah, but he's so big and shiny I can't picture any Godzilla looking good with it. But, he seems lonely without a nemesis.

I have the black painted. I'd like a Godzilla close to the movie colors.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, wasn't sure where to ask.

The Bandai Museum series Godzillas are nice, big, and very detailed (I think they are sculpted by the CCP guy), but I do not think they made a HedoGoji.

I agree Sumatra, I'll probably hunt down all off these guys, once I win the lottery, or get my secret prostitution ring started up,

Thank you Mark, I had no idea what I wanted would be called a Hedo-Goji, but yeah, I really want a figure that looks good, but with those rediculous eyes.

I can't find anything I like on Club Tokyo :(
It's like shopping for a prom dress and realizing you're FAT.
Only I'm a dude, so I have no idea what that would be like.

I think the CCP standing Hedorahs look great and don't need to be displayed with anything else. I can't wait to have a place to display my white one all by itself - the stark white really makes the sculpt stand out!

What about one of the newer Marmit figures, they do some pretty big sculpts too, especially the Vinyl Paradise range. How big is Hedo?

I did see Marmit had some nice sculpts, but the Hedorah is 12" tall.
I haven't seen any so large, and Club Tokyo doesn't show sizes.

What would you suggest?

Check out the B-Club Godzilla 2005 (Finaro-Goji) on Club Tokyo.
It's 14 inches tall. It displays well with my large CCP Hedorah.

Wow, thanks cralya and kinggoji, those are great.

I think the '68 is the one for me, the black version:

But, I obviously know nothing about this figure.
How hard would this be to find, and what sort of price would it go for?

YJA would be your best bet, and you might find another sculpt you like in the hunt for the 68, as trying to find a specific colorway and sculpt of course will take more time. I would expect to pay close to 200 for a giant size Godzilla, maybe more after fees. This is just a guess on my part however based on a few other giants I have noticed.

The B-Club Bullmark repro is my favorite giant size Godzilla. http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemListingRpt.php?catID=1&subCatID=116&contentID=466 I have the GID and would expect it to look cool with the CCP Hedorah.

Anorak time! :D

Godzilla movies often reference whatever was the then 'popular' culture.
Near the beginning of "Godzilla vs. Hedodorah"
the obligatory 'pesky kid' is playing with his monster toys in the yard.
One of them is what would now be a vintage OG giant Bullmark Godji.

It's kind of hard to tell exactly what color it is, at least in the prints of the movie I've seen.
It appears in a couple of shots and looks distinctly lighter in one than another,
so for me it was a toss-up between the first and second B-club reissues.
The darker one won.

I like this Marmit one too:

What ARE those things he's holding in his hand ???
(pic: Club Tokyo, kind of obviously)

Not so sure Marmit's giant soshingeki-goji's right alongside your CCP Hedorah. I have the damaged Hed, which should be the same size as yours, and the Marmit's way too big.

The BClub giant Bullmark reissue is better, but if you watch the movie, Godzilla just isn't THAT tall next to Hedorah. Godzilla shouldn't be much taller than eye-level with Hedorah.

Good luck with your hunt...sorry I couldn't be more help with suggestions...

The battle damaged Hedorah is a good inch or so taller than the one pictured in the first post.
