I got this with another mini zag from YJA.

It is sealed/stapled with header---at face value, it was legit.

But somehow, I have reservations on this dude and suspect it is a custom on a blue blank...can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

I think Locomoco is the expert.

But as far as I know I've never seen that zag before.

Thanks! Which makes it suspicious....

I hope Loco can chime in and have a look at this mini.

Sorry, but definitely not a production Zag...

The eye and teeth are the sure signs... clear brush strokes - not sprayed using masks.

Someone just did a custom job on one of the blue blanks as you thought.

Do you have a link to the auction? I'd like to see if they listed it as a custom job...

Ah... yeah, it does say that it was a custom... he even says it's an "amateur custom".

Eyes and teeth are a dead give-away. Was there no pic posted for the auction?

I think I remember it and there was but it was from faraway. It wasn't a closeup.

There was a pic, but it was "sealed in plastic" with header. Even when I opened it--it was neatly stapled So, the impression was, it wasn't opened.

Lame! Messed up that someone is trying to pass this off as a production piece!

The description said "custom" so it wasn't exactly a dupe. But it was a little vague

Oh no, I think his status as an amateur has been solidified with this one...
