Crazy, I checked their site at like 4 am PST and they hadn't put anything up. Are they now working a night shift or graveyard???

they do update at different times.

This is a bad one to start with... other pirates seem so "ordinary" compared to this one... purchases of future pirates might seem anti-climactic after this one is on your shelf. :D

I was thinking the same thing, but you got to start somewhere. Maybe all I need is one...yeah that's the ticket (keep telling myself that). 8)

I don't collect the pirates, so I can't compare, and I have yet to see one in hand to compare but i really like the fc version. The black and white rub is so awesome.

I have to admit, I was tempted.

I reckon this one has quite a large run, certainly larger than the Rusty.

And Loco is right, this is a bad one to start on. FHPs slay the normal run ones. I think the only ones that hold thier own to FHPs are the Clot and the Shake Captain.
I haven't seen the blood in person, so I'll leave him out of the above statement.

I've passed on nearly all the pirates until I saw the super glossy finish on this one. Has a beautiful pearl-like iridescence to it.

I can't really say if this one is the best, since I only have the FC version to compare it to, but this one is definitely awesome. Was hoping to pick up both this and the captain, but I only had enough for one at SDCC. Glad I picked this one, but I'm still on the hunt for the captain as well. :?
