It looks like some kind of Kamen Rider figure but I'm totally unsure of what it is.

It's Robo Pecha from Robocon. That one is from Bandai's Sofubi Damashi line, I think.

She's the school nurse. Whenever the robot kids at school get hurt, she jams them with that big hypodermic.

i've always wanted to get myself some Robocon vinyl. i've never seen (or heard of) the show, but the figs have always had me curious. now that my smoking stars have caught up, and my secret base fetish has died down a bit (probably not enough), i may have to work my way into this stuff. what are some other characters to look for? and is this show available in an english format (downloadable or domestically released, i don't care which way)?

There's a nice pic of an old one in that So Crazy Japanese Toys book. How do you guys remember all this stuff?
I feel like I'm cramming for finals and I'm gonna flunk out because I won't be able to remember who first licensed bullmark's molds.
Fortunately I've always been good on essay questions.

Also check out the TBDX Popy data file for info on the Robocon chogokin pieces:

GA-38 Mechanic Robocon could be one of the best toys ever made throughout the universe.

My girlfriend has that Robopecha figure and it's really pretty cool. KR posted a collection shot of a whole bunch of vintage Robocon figures in the 'Vintage Vinyl' forum a while back. The link is below. Scroll down just short of halfway down the page.

If you scroll down closer to the bottom of the page, Erik Sjoen posted a pic of his collection, as well. I don't know all the names, but these photos are a good visual reference. Cheers!

Thanks folks, I really dig these figures and after seeing Kr's vintage robocon figures and the TBDX Popy database (thank you Roger and il_muffino) I need them badly lol.
I appreciate the help and I'm of on another collecting hunt.

Just do eBay and Yahoo Japan searches for "Robocon" and you'll come up with what you're looking for. As always, the die-casts are easier to find than the vinyls.

Then there's the other cutesy robots, like 8-chan, Gan Gara Gan-chan, Robo Maru, Mori Mori Bokkun, Robotak, Kabutak, etcetera, etcetera, ad nauseum. Have fun. ;p

Thanks Roger, great stuff that mori mori bokkun.
I love the figures so darn much.

The merciful thing about collecting Mori Mori Bokkun is that there are only a handful of toys.
