Mine are in color as well. Maybe the printer settings were set to black and white?

I got colored guts too Joe. Maybe your printer.

I actually think the B&W looks cool in your pic...

Lol. Sorry, let me rephrase.
I printed it out in B&W because I don't have a color printer here at work.

I like the b&w guts... gives it that realistic destroying my lungs effect...

The KT zine just printed some of the guts in the latest issue.

I love this statement ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.

All black and tar'y. I asked someone about what their avatar was and it was one of these guys. I was hooked on them (I'm a smoker, punn intended) upon seeing a full size picture and a bit of back story info.
Anyone know how many versions have been produced??

I know of these only.

1. clear green
2. clear GID
3. Painted GID
4. clear w/painted ash
5. solid red

Solid Red will be hard. I've only seen that once and that was through mandarake with some other really rare stuff.

Yeah I figure its prolly a proto or something special like that. I have been able to find the clear green, clear GID, and painted GID.
Whats strange is how low cost they are yet really hard to find.

Here they are in order:

1. clear (2004)
2. clear with red ash (2004)
3. clear with red ash and filter (2005)
4. clear with black ash and filter (2005)
5. painted GID (2006)
6. clear green SDCC 2 pack with GID Smoking Corps Insert A version (2007)
7. clear green SDCC 2 pack with GID Smoking Corps Insert B version (2007)
8. clear GID (2008)
?. solid red (I think you're right this is likely a proto, or is it some rare lucky bag? Can anyone confirm?)

Thank you DK, this is the info I have been searching for now roughly 3 weeks.
I am trying to build a collection of these but they seem very scarse or noone is selling them at this point. Does anyone know of any overseas or state side retailers who might possibly have these?? I have been searching YJA and no luck there either.

Sorry to go off topic.
I love the guts idea, and the fact you can just print and go is sick. I'm going to try and redesign the guts for my harm men and see what I can come up with. If anyone else has already done this I would be interested in seeing the finished product.

They are really tough to come by. I got on them a bit late and missed the boat on some of them. I just have:

clear glow
painted glow
both SDCC2007 sets

Need the rest
for the regular smoking corps I just need the clear 2 pack

Oh and I also need a bunch of money to buy them with hahaha.

Dont worry, even with the money I cant find them lol. I dig how the clear with painted ash and filter versions look, and I would really like to collect as many of these guys as possible but we'll see.
Does anyone have examples of the difference between the SDCC '07 versions??

I have them, so I could shoot some pics. I'll try to get to it tonight. The toys themselves are identical only the paper inserts differ.

Thats cool, I dont know which one I have so a picture would be a nice identifier (to see the guts only).

Thanks DK,
Which one is which? Blue/purple guts is version A or B? Standard color guts is the one I have.

Post subject:  Re: Gargamel guts?

They were only sold as one type during the con. The set wasn't sold as A and B I just added those designations to show there was a variation available. The toy itself is the same, only the inserts differ.

Ok, gotcha. Sorry for the ignorance, I'm just into collecting these so I dont know a whole lot about them other than what I was told and the little I have read.
I appreciate the help in understanding.
