Did anyone see this yet? I just saw it on M1's website. I think it was for sale last weekend. Very unusual finish... I'd like to see it in person.

Kind of a cinnabar pottery finish. The Manda sculpt itself and the combo of the finish definitely give it that antique look. Like something my grandma would have on her shelf. Or perched next to a register at a Chinese buffet.

it looks as if there would be some warrior or wizard pointing a sword or staff at him..remind me of a D&D pose..I have a little buddha in the same colors as this

these were for sale at the m1 table at superfest last weekend. i think its maroon vinyl with black paint rub. i was about to pick it up for a closer look, but got distracted by a pair of unpainted thrashout gargantuas.

Looks like Asian red lacquerware, as I assume it's supposed to. Very appropriate and classy treatment. It takes the Manda sculpt to a different level, different connotations.

Extremely cool on the finish, sculpt looks like it's half of one version and half of another, interesting.

It looks cool but reminds me sorta of something you'd expect to find in Japantown San Jose.

I think that's the point! I actually dig those wooden dragons you can pick up in any Chinatown.

Anyway, what I like about this is that this toy uses the second Manda sculpt. The first sculpt is the short one that is pretty flat. This is the second, longer sculpt with body sections twisted more in 3D (to wrap around the M1 Atragon that was released separately at the same time).

I've been waiting for more releases of this second sculpt since the first one. I was getting nervous 'cause it's been a while!
