Once again, CCP puts out a cool vinyl and the rabid fans snatch it up...probably to flip on YJP or another auction site. Sold out minutes after the posting.

Since that happened I'm wondering how fast the bronze spectreman will go.

Jeez

Holy crap how do they do that chrome? Is it plated vinyl?

I'll tell ya when my Chrome Smoking Hedorah comes in

it's not a plating since that involves electricity and an acid bath. could be some wacky new spray -- their manufacturer is in China and that = no health standards.

Whatever it is, the look is amazing. My money is on the Spectreman!

Same here...I'd be happy to just score the Spectreman!

It doesn't quite give a full reflective chromed effect, but there is a product by a graffiti artist called KRINK (KR ink) that has a really nice illustrious and metallic silver. If I were customizing any of my vinyls, I've always wanted to use some of that, minus it's famous drip-effect.

These "chromed" CCP releases are DOPE though. I presume they're in low enough numbers that no retailers stateside ever peddle em, yeah? Everytime I've checked the CCP site, they're all sold out, or not out yet

Largest quantity produced of any of these has been 200. most are around 100 or so.

I'd be curious to see what they use since it would have to be non-reactive with the vinyl unless they have a base on the figures then paint it.
