just for fun I want to do a poll for best new toy of 2008. The poll allows 10 choices max and I've made some picks but am open to opinions establishing the poll. I'm not sure if I included something that debuted prior to 2008 but if I did I'd rather not use it so please let me know. If they are all really from 2008 that's one hell of a list! The poll also allows more than one option but I'm not sure if that means you can vote your top 3 or how it works exactly? Anyway here's what I've got so far and please give your opinions! I don't think these debuted in 2008: RxH Fortune cat Cure boogie man Zollmen Galtan BxH Captain Bounce SB/Pushead Skull Captain Usugrow Rebel Ink I haven't been around long enough so correct me if I'm wrong. However, you're missing a few great sculpts that did debut in 2008: RealxHead Hone Borg Gargamel Eaton Gargamel Tokoji Seijin Rumble Monsters Bop Dragon Killer J Smoking Star Itokin Park Himalan Super7 Mummy Boy Super7 SOI Zombies Super7 Mongolion And the list goes on. I'm sure I'm forgetting something great. |

I think you're right on the cats and galtan being older, not sure on the rest. There are definitely some great new sculpts from 2008 but the list can only be 10 long for the poll. What should the choice be to replace the lucky cat and galtan? hone borg and eaton? tokoji or globby? |

Joe you were also right on the Rebel Ink and until someone says different I'll go with the captain bounce being 2007 so here's what I'm thinking for the top 10 for now. Minus the Boogie man and adding MG5 Gargamel Martin Ojo Rojo MG5 2 headed Bemon Shikaruna Dorol/Dororu SB/Pushead Skull Captain Toygraph Space Trooper Gargamel Bwana Globby Gargamel Koji Tokoji Senjin Gargamel Eaton RxH Hone Borg what do you all think |

I think it would be easier to list all the new toys that I think showed the decline of the industry. I see quite a few of them mentioned already on these lists. |

it's Captain Bounch not bounce. don't forget the Kumaru Kun:  Definitely a contender for toy of the year. Another glaring oversight... Mummy Boy... i love this little dude. i don't have one, but if i did, i might vote for the two headed bemon and sorry Joe, Ojo is probably the worst of the year. its an eyesore and lends itself easily to vomit inducing color choices. |
