Post subject:  my apologies...

it has been brought to my attention that some people feel that i make atrociously low offers for secret base figures.
i would like to offer my sincerest apologies. i am new to SB(just over a month into it) and i am not hip on what current pricing is(hell, i dont even know what most of the figures look like...i have to ask for pictures of everything). i am not set up through yahoo japan or celga or any of those things, so i dont know the going rates. i also dont really search ebay too often, so i am kinda out in left field.
i offer what i think is a fair price for something(which from my experience is what i see through super 7, etc), and i never intend for the other party to get offended. it is just my naive secret base side coming out.
also, please understand that the offer i make is only a starting offer, feel free to let me know that the going rate on something is higher than my offer, etc

apologies to those whom i have offended. apparently there are a few who have had their feelings hurt

Yeah, what he said.

And you're not the only new person here. Don't beat yourself up about any of it.

Don't worry, no one should get offended about pricing right now. There is no fixed price on any of these items. I think some of the figures are overpriced (most skull bee and all Honey bees) and some are still cheap in comparison (skullbrain, ghostfighter).

I agree with Frank I think the prices on most figures will drop but the hard-to-find figures may become can-not-find figures.

It makes me feel better to know retail YEN price when the toy was sold as a new toy...

That doesn't mean I'm not going to pay a crazy silly price if I want it bad enough but I have to have a starting point.

here's my strategy - for what it's worth: since there are only a few actual figures (skull bee, skull brain, obake, etc.) which are released repeatedly, I try to find the sculpts I like at issue prices (or close to it) in any old paint job. This only works if you are not overly concerned about what exact colors/extras/etc. your figure comes with.
