Went to the Shibuya Mandarake shop today. The Devilman set was sold out, but as I suspected, a grip of those top shelf "not for sale" RxH rarities made it down one shelf - with price tags attached! Managed to score one of my RxH grails. Pics to follow.

sweet..! and congrats on scoring something you really wanted. they didn't have any glow evils did they? wait--don't tell me. wasn't feeling the devilman set too much anyway--the chaosman was cool though. time to check yja. |

Thanks! I'm afraid I wasn't able to shoot pics of the other stuff in the shop. They have a very strict no-photography rule, and the showcase is 2 feet from the door guard, so it's really hard to sneak a shot there. |

I think the key point in that thread is it's not a black and white situation. Life's a lot fuzzier than that.  If anything, seeing so many fantastic earlier RxH pieces reminded me of how mind-blowing RxH can be. It also convinced me even further that Mori needs to get back to painting (at least some of) the figures himself and focus on putting out just the best designs. |
