On the Secret Base website, it says: Secret Base is also responsible for creating today's toy trend, "See-Thru Soft Vinyl" So is Hiddy saying that he is responsible for pioneering the use of clear vinyl in toys? Doesn't make much sense as you look at all of the clear vinyl vintage toys... |

Crazy! The S7 Magazines are filled with vintage clear (or yellowish clear) vinyl toys with inserts. Something must have been lost in the translation. Perhaps he meant the clear vinyl "Neo Kaiju" trend. |

Feh. Even if you go back only ten years and look at vinyl toys aimed at adults, Marmit and Bandai were cranking out translucent vinyls well before Secret Base was established. And people went nuts over those crappy things. |
