how popular are most of these (superfest the exception) and what's the deal with getting in? i'd obviously be keen on going to alot of them but i dunno if i'd have the patience to turn up at 5am and then wait hours in a line...

the wizard con is basically a flea market full of shit left over from another flea market.

am i just over looking something or does that link for the chicago comiccon not lead to anything about chicago?

I remember in the 80's when the Chicago Comicon was one of the bigger cons around, if not the biggest. Then everything went to SD.

There is no way in thier right mind they would double schedule these 2 events ;)
The company that organizes the NY and Chicago events is different than the one that does the San Diego one.

So now there just needs to be an event in January and its a nice 3-month cycle..
April - Chicago, July - San Diego, October - New York, January.... SUPERFESTIVAL! ;)

So if you were in charge of adding one more large event in the USA (in January mind you) where should it be???
