Was reading Kadomium Tank's blog this morning and it looks like Bear Model is going to be making their own version of Yametarnan. Here's a pic (courtesy of Kadomium Tank):  looks pretty cool, also on his blog there is a pic of the Marmit Yametarnan with a bunch of Buto Dust Monsters. I've always said those guys look like mini offspring of Yametarnan. |

The Bear Model version looks great. |

I love what Kadomium does with the photo set ups on his blog. It's always enjoyable. Slightly off topic, but I never realized there were 3 versions of the Buta Dust Monsters. All I'd ever seen were the white (Glow?) and purplish ones. It looks like more than the eyes in the cross pollination between the Dust and the Yametarnan. At least the Marmit version. Is there a background story on Yametarnan? |

Thanks for the heads up, C! Bear Model does nice kaiju and these two are keepers. The Marmit version is nice as well. |

i have no idea what Yametarnan is, but i love it! i've had Bear Model stuff on the back burner for a while. once i'm satisfied with all the other kaiju lines i currently correct, i'm heading into bear country, and i'll have to track that one down (and the dust monsters, too!). I love Bear Models classic vibe with the free hand sprays to top it. thanks for posting these, it's a great new edition to my kaiju memory... |
