about 4" to 5" (9.5-10.5cm) tall? I think at that size, you could put more texture on it. It is very different from the Smoking Star or Doku-rocks. |

I think Killer J is your (well, Takeuchi's) best toy of your line. I am a huge, huge fan of Skull Toys but I really don't like his new stuff -- This and Dock 'n' Roll, shown at Superfest 47, are some of his least appealing sculpts, in my opinion. Almost Touma-ish. To each their own though. |

The Hedorah sweater went through a few trials before design was finalized, so it turned out better between the two. But then again, my dogs are tiny, and the Zag sweater uses pretty thick yarn, so details are a lot harder to pull off. The thinner yarns we'd used in trials were too itchy for the dogs to wear  and my girl loves Kermit, so that aint so bad for her to hear, lolMaybe the Star Pet needs some clothes?  err... that'd be way too K.R.

I'm not excited. This is a total detour from the SS. As someone already stated, there's very little texture and the eyeball looks rather weird. Was the upper part of the head partly inspired by the Flatwoods monster ? |

I'd say it's a good start for a first draft but it does need more detail. Rather than having the lines why not cut out some levels of detail? The eye looks good - the area around the eye needs much work. The eyeball just disappears! Also, the area behind the eyeball / lid could be undercut so that it is inset slightly - or even put an angle on it to give the illusion that the two halves open up to "reveal" the eye. Use this one as a base start and then do another sculpt and really push the design
