I got the Jyarinco vibe from it too. Still, it's a beauty. Best Zaran yet, and definitely one of the coolest Killer J HPs around. |

Regardless of whether you like his original toys, Killer J's painting skills are top-notch. I expect this one to look incredible in person. |

this looks great! i don't have any zaran's, but i'd love to start with killerj's! hope the run size is a bit bigger than some of killerj's smoking star hp's being broke and all, i probably won't be able to score this when released, and i don't want to end up paying out the ass for one! |

It's come and gone. There was a painted and unpainted offered, not sure how many of each. I was going to try for it (but not cry if I missed out) yesterday but thought too long about it and missed it. Oh well, more money for other toys. The first Star Pet is up for sale. I don't like the sculpt at all but this version is real nice looking (Terribly artifacted photo, though):

I don't know..I wouldn't shame the star pet too soon. I've had a sample here and it's really grown on me. It has a unique character, especially with the depth of the plastic eye, really makes it shine. But that's just my opinion. |

But that's just my opinion. i feel that way too. the initial unpainted proto shot that killerj posted up a few months back appeared completely hideous with my tastes. but this clear version with some actual paint application makes the toy look more attractive, instead of a clunky piece of vinyl reminiscent of something almost western in feel. i'm not gonna jump and buy one of these, but i might give it a second glance or too from now on.... |

It's like when you get a really bad song in your head and you keep singing it over and over. Then you tell someone else and it becomes theirs. The curse is lifted. |

Looks like they took the Obake dog (with the smooth legs and body) and mixed it with the Flatwoods... |
