sometimes cold water really hits the spot though. never heard of horchata--but after looking into it, it definitely sounds good. I still see clear vinyl toys from other companies being released, so is it just certain vinyl makers can't make it or is clear vinyl going to be completely done with before long? |

jojo the dog faced boy wrote: me neither, but then to each his own. ok, i officially recant this. i now totally get this sculpt. sometimes you really do need to see something up close to "get it". i checked some out at jason's(azjpeg) store, red hot robot, when i went down to look at the resin collective show he has up. these things are way cool. i need another thing to collect like i need a whole in the head, so i may just nab a few down the line. famous last words? hmm.... |

The clear vinyl we are getting now is the same or as good as the clear we got in Dec 08 or Dec 06 for that matter; just wait until you see the new Zag and Odoron. I am not sure who told Jason otherwise but I can't tell the difference and I do own a few clear vinyl toys. |

Wasn't the new clear vinyl supposed to cloud or yellow faster? |

We saw some side by side comparisons....the difference is slight. No idea about yellowing sooner.... |

I think it's more of an over time thing. I too saw them side by side and there is a difference. I think the concern is with buying a product that will change in time. Some people are kinda particular about their toys and the idea of figure losing it's "clearness" bugs them out. |

All clear vinyl yellow over time I thought ? Its inevitable correct ? well, unless you keep it in a dark out of light place. |

Correct. Darkness and temp control will delay the yellowing process, but it will happen and there's no stopping it. Varies from batch to batch and can take a few years to 20 under normal use/display...ya never know. Just keep them off of your car's dashboard. |

Non-yellowing clear vinyl would be a million-dollar invention! When I got my clear w/ glow BBs Mutant Head, I took it to school the next day and showed it to my friend on the bus, but it was pretty dark. When we get inside, I take it out again, and he says, "Oh, so it's clear yellow?" |
