sorry if this has already been discussed, but who has the scoop on Secret Base's new Warriors line up due this summer? There is a picture in the mini catalog that came with my new UNBK Brain. they look like action figures in a crazy sci fi universe. pretty cool looking designs. If you goto the SB site, you can see a T-shirt with this illustration spelling out "Warriors" so what's the dealio? Toys? Comic? Fashion? gashapon?

Thanks for starting this thread! It's been driving me nuts! Are they new figures or just indications of the colorways? The art work is awesome. I love the devil with the space helmet. |

That Warriors font logo Secret B is using is the same logo as the actual Warriors movie. Wonder if there is any direct connection? Or if Hiddy just wants to pay tribute? Toybot did the picture you're talking about with the action figures just show the characters drawn like they are on the t-shirt, or was it an actual photograph of a true figure? |

i'll scan the picture from the flyer tonight. yes, the picture was the characters illustrated in a group....like a gang of thugs....making their way through NYC....after being blamed for a murder they didn't commit....at a gang rally. clink....clink....clink.....waaaaaarrrrrrrriooooorrrrrsssss.....................come out to playyyyyy.......yyyaaaayyyy. |

I think those are unreleased proto colorform guys - pic taken at NYCC maybe? There was a gnarly guy there with everything and more protos and unreleased shit than OG. He had a dude drawing a bad comic book featuring their new adventures, and was selling figs for RIDICULOUS prices. Hiddy loves the Colorform Outer Space Men by the way. |

Gary from the OSM team is a really nice guy and posts at the Universal Monster Army board. He's seen this thread and he said those two figures are customs he bought several years ago. He has 6 of 12 that were made. I know he and Mel very much want to re-release the original figures. He did say to expect some epic announcements in the next few weeks, although he didn't specifically say it was about the toys. As I said, he's seen this thread so if you want the original figures (and hopefully the Bullmarks too) re-made, let it be known! Fwiw, I have no use for SB and sincerely hope they don't make any figures based on these. |
